Our annual In Remembrance concert this year features Edmontonian mezzo-soprano, Lizzy Hoyt, who now calls Winnipeg home. Lizzy is a multi-faceted artist who has performed with great success in both folk and classical genres.

Lizzy describes her program: “… an intimate concert exploring themes of conflict and remembrance with a journey towards hope. It is a collection of classical art song, some of my original folk songs, and some opera arias.”

The winner of the Queen’s Diamond Jubilee Medal, and lauded by Opera Canada for her dramatic depth, Lizzy comes to perform this special ERS event with pianist, Lisa Rumpel.
