Edmonton’s own violin virtuoso Jacques Forestier returns home for a thrilling recital with American pianist Serena Wang. Praised by The Violin Channel as “a real poet with emotional maturity far beyond his young years,” Jacques’ career accelerated dramatically after winning the 2024 Joseph Joachim International Violin Competition in Germany at just nineteen.

We last featured Jacques as our emerging artist in 2019, and it is a joy to welcome him back and celebrate the remarkable rise of his career. This is a performance you won’t want to miss.
